Here are some few tips that will help you care your nails (:
- Moisturizing your nails could prevent cracking or breaking.
- Lemon juice can be great help - mix one tablespoon of lemon juice in a cup of water and soak your nails in this liquid for a few minutes it will remove stains from your nails. Than wash it off.
- Make sure to give your nails a break from time to time. In other words leave them without polish for a few days, every now and then. Otherwise, they will develop an ugly, yellow tint
- File your nails when you are already wearing a polish. This will prevent splitting or breaking of nails.
- Never peel or scrape off nail polish or use metal instruments on the nail surface to push back the cuticles. This can scrape off the protective cells of the nail surface.
- Break the habit of nail biting - it is very destructive to both the nail and the cuticle and can lead to infections that can actually deform the nail.
