Upbeat Nails | Nail Art Blog

Hello Everyone. How are you all?
I am back. I kinda lost all my inspiration to do nail art for last month. I guess I ran outta idea. And besides my sister had exams so I couldn't do nail art on her. As you know I am doing my nail art on her since I suffered from fungal infection.
So back to today's manicure. I am here to share my take on Marvel new movie - Avenger Infinity War. I watched it yesterday and I am  blown away. I mean bad guys beats the good guys, Since when did that happen? I am on edge after the movie was over and I cant wait to see the second part. Lets get back to nail art before I start rambling about the movie. But seriously we all should sit and talk about the ending :P
For this manicure I used black base and hand painted the Avenger logo and stamped shattered pattern on rest of the nails. The idea was , of course there is a war going on , so lots of boom and blast and Hulk tearing apart things hence the shattered effect but too bad Hulk never shows up in the movie. So let me know what you think about the nail art  and hopefully I will see you soon.

Hello Everyone!!! How are you all?
As Christmas is around the corner, I have been seeing lots of festive manicure in social media. So I decided to create one myself. We don't celebrate Christmas here nor it ever snow which is kind of sad because  White Christmas sounds so much fun. I didn't wanted to do typical Festive nail art this year so as usual I searched Pinterest and found a fun Christmas design which you can see here.
So what do you think of my Chesse-zy pizza tree? May Santa Claus treats you better than this. I loved this design when I saw on Pinterest and knew I had to make it. As usual I started with white base then hand painted the pizza tree on ring finger. Then I sponged red and yellow polish to create gradient and stamped a tree pattern on rest of the finger. Once I was done I realized I should have done Christmas light or random dots like Pizza topping. But still I loved this design as well. Comment below and let me know your opinion. Thanks for visiting and I will see you soon.

Hello Everyone!!!
Since I am still feeling sick I haven't been able to paint any new manicure. So instead I am gonna share a manicure that I wore while I went to watch "Fantastic beast and where to find them". As you might know the main character of the movie belongs to Hufflepuff and yellow and black are its colors. So I just painted my nails with those colors back then.
I started off with Yellow polish except  for ring finger which I painted Black. Then I stamped Random line pattern from Checked Stamping Plate from Born Pretty Store. Then I added Some Gold/Yellow studs on Ring Finger. Hope you like this manicure. I will see you soon.

Hello Everyone!!! Cant believe 2016 is almost over. Do you have any plans for New Year?
Today  I have a quick review of stamping plate from Born Pretty Store. I have Born Pretty Stamping Plates BP-L054 ($2.39) As always the stamping plate came with the standard blue protective film which must be removed prior to use.It had its own cardboard sleeves for storage. The plates come with a plastic backing to avoid sharp edge. This rectangle plate is  covered with beautiful Geometry Pattern. For some reason I found this plate very refreshing.
BP-L054  features 13 big images and 7 small images. The Big images are quite big even for full manicure. The plate is simple but it has endless possibilities. You can go for minimalistic look or reverse stamp to get some eye catching look. As for the quality of the plate -its brilliant.  I didn't had any problem while transferring the design on nails. They are well etched.

I decided to go for subtle look. For this design I used  Angelacq Light  Blue. Then I stamped two different  small pattern on ring and middle finger. For rest of the nails I did some negative space and add some triangle stud.So what do you think? Let me know on the comment below.

Hello Everyone!!!
Today is the last theme for ABC Challenge. 26 weeks of fun is going to end today. This challenge has really help me to push myself beyond my limit and been a great learning process. The last prompt is  "Z" of-course. To keep with a theme I decided to do Zebra pattern.
As always I started with white base. Once it was dry, I used French tip nail sticker to create sideways half moon, and finally  stamped Zebra patterns using  BP- X13 stamping plate.  So what do you think? Let me know on the comment below.

Hello Everyone!!!
Continuing with ABC Challenge, today is the day for "S". Like I said in my last post, its festival season here so I had to make this manicure in last minute. Now those who know me I am sucker for Skulls. So to keep up with the theme I made S for Skulls which just so happen to be cool for Halloween too *wink*
I don't know how I feel about this manicure. In real it look so good. All the colorful skull looked were clear and defined but in images it just look overloaded with oranges and dripping skull? Good thing I made this nail art  for Halloween too. I used BP- X13 Stamping plate for the skulls. So what do you think let me know on the comment below. I will see you next Friday.

Hello Everyone!!! Any plans for weekend? I am just getting some R and R.
Today I have final review of stamping plate that was send from Born Pretty Store. They currently launched lots of stamping plate with beautiful pattern so do check them out. You can see the rest of the review here , here, here and here.
The stamping plate that  I am gonna show you is filled with different Robotic Patterns. This product is listed under ID Code 30335 and is available for $2.99.

As always the stamping plate came with the standard blue protective film which must be removed prior to use. It had its own cardboard sleeves for storage. The plate has cute robot on it,some circuit and all that mechanical gear. I love the way they seem to utilize as much of the plate surface as possible. You can stamp a single robot on all of your nails or stamp different pattern. The choices could be unlimited.
This plate is of brilliant quality, the images transferred super clean and stamped without any issues.
For this manicure I used shimmer brownish polish (no name on the polish again.) and stamped it with regular white polish from Caiuro. I Stamped different pattern on my nails. I found the robot pattern very cute.
If you are interested in this Robotic Patterns plate you can buy it from here  and you can  use my discount code ASXW10 to get 10% off your entire order.
You can find them on all of the usual social media outlets too, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Hello Everyone!!!
I am a day late for ABC Challenge post. Usually I post it on Friday but I had electricity problem again. Well anyways, today its gonna be a review as well as manicure for the challenge. When lovely Cynthia asked me to try some of the BPS product I was amazed with the range of their stamping plate. So I have tons of Stamping plate to review for you.Stay tuned!!
I have a very beautiful Stamping to show you today. This Plate is listed under the ID No 30338 and is available for $2.99
http://upbeatnails.blogspot.com/p/isclosure.html
This plate is beauty itself. Its a rectangle which is new to me, it came with a cardboard sleeves which makes it easier for  storage. The Plate has a big butterfly pattern. Along with the butterflies, you will find a flower , ladybug and grasses pattern as well. Its approx 12.6*cm. The butterfly wings has such detailed netted pattern which I loved at first sight. What I love about this stamping plate is that it has a big plastic material around it giving it a white border. I love this feature because it minimizes the damage.
I didn't had any problem with picking up the design on my stamper. I used a regular nail polish  and  was able to get  good results from the plate. The plate is very deeply etched which means  picking up the pattern was very easy.
If you are interested in these Butterfly Stamping Plate or any other nail products you can buy them from Born Pretty Store  and you can  use my discount code ASXW10 to get 10% off your entire order.
You can find them on all of the usual social media outlets too, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

ABC Challenge: N is for Negative Space
As for the challenge I decide to do N for Negative Space. I stamped this netted pattern from above plate on the nails. I had a hard time taking the images as the weather is sad and gloomy here and my camera just wouldn't agree to focus properly.
So what do you think? Let me know on the comment below.

Hello Everyone!!!
I am super exited to review a product from Born Pretty Store today. Its a Clear Marshmallow Silicone Jelly Stamper with Cap & Scraper which is listed under the code ID= 26498 and is available for $3.59. You can  use my discount code ASXW10 to get 10% off.
When I first received the product it came damaged - the corner of the stamper was chipped (a small part missing) I contacted lovely Cynthia and she send me a new one which I received in less than two weeks. Talk about good customer service . Isn't that great?

http://upbeatnails.blogspot.com/p/isclosure.html
The Product came wrapped inside white thermocol. When I opened it, stamper was safe inside plastic seal. The head of this stamper is removable and made of a clear jelly silicone. It comes in this Clear holder with cap and with its own  BPS scraper. The stamper is somewhere between not too squishy and not to firm. When you pressed the stamper on your nails, the nails kind of disappear on it. It is of course a clear jelly stamper. Its about 42mm in diameter which is more than enough to cover your nails wonderfully.
Remember that time when we all struggle to achieve that perfect stamping. Well with this Stamper it is very easy and handy. The advantage of these stampers is that the back-end of the stamper is open and it allows you to see down through the holder so  you can easily position the stamp onto your nail in the exact position you want.
I used BP XO6 Stamping plate. The image picked up perfectly on the first go. I didn't had any problem. Both roll over motion and press straight down technique worked for me. The images printed brilliant in both ways.I used a normal polish not a stamping polish which just work fine for me.
Even when I had such a handy product I couldn't create perfect stamping. When everything was going so well,  my top coat decided to ruin the manicure by smearing it.
Verdict : I love this jelly stamper. Its a life saver. Must have product if you are addicted to stamping. Since its clear it is easy to place images where I want them to be. No priming of the stamper is needed. The only down side is that the stamper head falls into the stamper if a lot of pressure is used.
So what do you think of the stamper. Have you tried it before?
If you feel like trying your hand at these Stamper, you can buy them from Born Pretty Store  and you can  use my discount code ASXW10 to get 10% off your entire order.
You can find them on all of the usual social media outlets too, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
