Upbeat Nails | Nail Art Blog: white

Hello Everyone.Happy weekend.
Today I am gonna share my take on stone marble nails. This nails are so on trend lately. They are chic and elegant. Although it looks simple and easy to make, I found it diifficult to get the right technique at first try.
Below is my fourth attempt. These took 1 hour to get anything vaguely resembling to stone marble, and I'm still not entirely convinced. But it look pretty good so I decided to share them.

Hello Everyone!!!
The STYLE part of challenge begins from today and the prompt is POLKA DOTS. As you might know it isn't my favorite theme to work on. The last time I did Polka dots was for last time 31 DC. So yeah after almost a year I am forced to do the pattern. But being said that I am so proud to present today's Mani.

Colors are from Hello Kitty Collection.

I absolutely love everything about this manicure. Even the color pink.Generally its not the color I prefer working on. But it is weird that I love polka and Pink on this manicure. I think my polka dots never has been perfect like this before. Comment below and let me know what you think about this design.

Hello Everyone!!!
Life right now sucks. I am having power problem (Electricity). We have power cuts like 12 hours a day and once I get back my power the voltage starts to mess up. I have been practically living under dark for a day now. Thank Goodness the responsible people came and fix the voltage problem. Let me make this quick post before power starts to play game with me *SIGH*

Yeah you guess it right its not mine's. Its my kiddo nails (Little sister). She is having vacation right now. So I decided to some Mani on hers. I wanted to make something cute and I couldn't had done better than this.

Colors used are Bloom Fluoro Green, Color Cosmetic Black and White.

Hello Everyone!!!

Nothing Screams out loud "Its Christmas time" than a Cute Snowman. Oh yeah I am back with one more abstract design and this time its a snowman and some snows. I just couldn't let December pass away without a snowman mani. Can we?!? And I wanted to try something new on my nails. So I searched the Google to get some inspiration and found some awesome abstract design.I mix two or three images in one and made this design on my nails. Let Jump in to pic right away.

Colors use are Street Wear Aqua Blue 19 [base color] NYC Empire State Blue [French snow design] VOV Dark Blue [Snowman] and Cosmetic Color Pink 7.

Whatcha think?!? Do you like my abstract Snowman?!? Its look more like blue Christmas than white one :D Its freehand. Made from my trustee toothpick and striper. Comment below and let me know what you think (:

Hello Everyone!!! Happy Tuesday

I am still little sick. Seems like swelling in eyes hast reduced yet.I wake up with red eyes almost every morning now a days. Its kind of making me difficult to paint my nails. But as I am trying to take blogging seriously I decided to post as regular as I could. As its been long since I haven't done throwback I thought this is the perfect time. I don't need to paint my nails but I still could keep posting :D Today I have a very simple but uber cool nail art to share with.

Simple yet stunning right?!? I used VOV yellow 49 as my base color, MAX Black And White. I love the final product. Its eye catching and chic!! All you need for this Mani is few colors of your choice and a toothpick/ bobby pins/dotting tools.

You don't need much of technique for this Mani. First apply base color and create dots over dots.You can make big dots and overlap small dots over it.This Mani is suitable for beginners. Personally this always have been one my favorite way to paint my nails. Its less time consuming, easy and add a glam in your nails in few minutes. I hope you like today Post. Hello Everyone!!! Happy Friendship Day to You all. ((:

Today is International Friendship Day- day when you cherish the moments and memories with your friend. As its kind of special day I thought of making a special Mani perfect for celebrating it. So I have very cute and colorful nail art to share with. I wanted my Mani to reflect the bond of friendship. I Googled pics related to friendship day and got inspired to transform them into my nails. I hope you like them (:

What do you think?!? I am totally satisfied with this Mani. Its fun and did reflect the friendship theme. I have used Cairuo #08 Orange, Cairuo #20 Green Tea, Cairuo #15 Orange, Cairuo #16 Blueberry for the gradient, Charm limit White 06, Black 07, Bloom Red and Mode Love 06 Top Coat.

I wanted colorful base for this mani for which gradient was perfect technique. When you have good friend in life- it automatically becomes colorful and fun isnt it?!? I applied white base, waited 5 minutes then gradient with sponge and quickly appliedquick top coat and let it dry completely. Then with my trustee toothpick dip in respective colors I start off painting the design. I already had idea on my mind so it didn't took me much time to create this.It Just went with flow.

Starting off with Thumb I wrote "Friend Forever" and added two little love, Two big heart shape in index finger, bunch of cool friends in middle ( its a shadow image of group of cute little people I Googled. Let say that me and my bestie), in ring finger I wrote "BFF" inside heart and finally on pinky I wrote "Hugs with lots of xoxo's".

GOOD BYE 2012 WELCOME 2013

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

Gosh its been long since i posted anything.Got wisdom tooth - it hurt so freaking bad, couldn't concentrate in anything *sigh* -.-" Here is quick post about what you can have in your nails for new year.

I was in no mood to paint my nails because of pain but since it is New Year I cannot miss the chance to share my nail design. So I made some wine glasses and wrote HNY 2013. This is very quick post just to give some idea. Hope you get some.

Hello Everyone

I have another mani for Halloween Series! This one is a cute ghost. I had a lot of fun painting this one. Reminds me of the friendly ghost "Casper". This design features cute little ghost faces and creepy eye watching you in dark.

This mani may look complicated but amazingly its very easy to make.A spooky and fun nail design that is perfect for Halloween festival!

Hello Everyone

Ever wondered how people get perfectly geometric nail art without a trip to the salon, well it is because of something as simple as cut-up Scotch tape. With the execution of scotch up you can make some striking designs.

By simply using a scotch tape I made different shape nail art. You can use any colors you want and make random yet cool shapes on your nails. You can even use the color of your dress that you are wearing and make shapes - a Little matching things again. I never thought "Geometric" shapes could be this much FUN! This nail art is easy to do but needs more patience as you have to wait to let every color dry. I ma not quite patience so my went a little messy -.-" never mind.

Hi Everyone!
Today I have very adorable nail art featuring a kitten and paw prints. I know that the love for cute animals is irrational until you are not very fond of them. Right now I am oh so much addicted with animal print. So buckle up! there is many more to come.

I hope you got some inspiration from this mani. It does look complicated but its not. I made this Mani with just a toothpick and with so much of patience. I absolutely loved the final outcome. This nail art has to be the most cutest design i ever painted.

How are you all? Whats that buzz around?

I'm excited to share cute and happy nail design - Bumble BEE. Inspired by Winne the pooh ;) This design is simple but bold in other way because of the colors that I have used. Golden colors to attract the attention. I got lots of compliment on this mani and I hope you will be able impress few fellas!

As you can see this mani is very simple,there is not much going around . Random dots to show Bee moving and some stripes and bumble bee itself. I have used MAX golden color and Camieo Black and white. All the mani is done by simply using a toothpick. I hope you will give a try to this design and please do share your re-creation with me. I would love to see it!
