Upbeat Nails | Nail Art Blog

Hello Everyone!!!
Continuing with my Born Pretty Store review. Today I am gonna talk  about two products. I was really excited to try this product.
 http://upbeatnails.blogspot.com/p/isclosure.html
You must know what is matte top coat. If not its a a quick-drying top coat that adds a matte texture to the nail. This  top  coat are formulated with mattifiers that transform manicures into matte finish. And born pretty's matte top coat do exactly that. The matte top coat comes in a matte glass bottle. The applicator brush is thick and gives very smooth finish. The top coat dries very fast and gives very nice matte effect. It lasts long.
Can you see the difference? I love how the effect is. Now I haven't use any matte top coat before but I have used matte polishes before. And if compared, BPS matte top coat is way much better. I used Imperial beauty matte polishes (I don't know if they are original Imperial beauty or fake)  it of course gives matte finish but the effect vanishes after few days. But BPS lasted long, dry fast with smooth finishes.I love this top coat. Its amazing.

This is the first time I have used Sequins. This pretty things arrive in a beautiful container.  It consist of 2g of triangle sequins. The sequins are 2mm. I think the material is plastic. There are seven more colors than this bold blue.
 http://upbeatnails.blogspot.com/p/isclosure.html
What I love about this sequins are when the light hits, different colors appears. Light blue, red and some greens. I couldn't capture in my shots though. It's beautiful, elegant, and totally effortless. All you need to do is apply top coat after your base color and dip the finger on the container or make some random design. With foil technique its easy to remove too.

So what do you think of these products. Have you tried any of this product before?

Hello Everyone!!!
I am back with more Born Pretty Store product review. Today I am gonna share my opinion about Glass nail buffer from BPS which is available for  $1.29. Nail file are a must have for any nail enthusiast. Before my addiction to nail art started I simply used to file my nails with the buffer that came along with any nail clippers . Then I started to used Stainless Steel nail file, and recently I tried sanding block buffer.  So this is my first time trying glass file.
http://upbeatnails.blogspot.com/p/isclosure.html
The glass file is 14cm long and has a very beautiful design on it.Packed with a blue gradient at the holding tip with a pointed end. The file is light and finely etched with filing surfaces on both  side .It also has a protective case for storing.

I don't use a nail file very often. I use them only if I have to cut my nails. First I use nail clippers then I filed only slightly to make sure I've got a perfect edge and to smooth out my nails. Like I said early I have tried few variety of nail files. The Stainless Steel files are good. They work just fine but I realized I needed to buffer my nails quite for a time to get that smooth edge. While with this glass file it wasn't such a hassle. Just few swipes on my nails and the edges smooth out pretty quickly. The sanding block buffer is pain in arse. It never worked out for me. So If I have to choose between the files I use, it will definitely be this glass file. Its light, easy on the eye, smooths my nails like butter. I didn't find any disadvantage of this file so far. May be I should avoid dropping it. It may break right?
So what do you think of this glass nail files?  Have you tried for yourself? Let me know on the comment below.

Hello Everyone!!!
I  wanted to try some spring manicure as I have see  many beautiful spring manicure in my Instagram account. But as you know I suck at painting flowers in general. I still decided to give it  a try anyway. I had a colorful design on my mind but it didn't turned out that well in reality. But still the manicure did look pretty on nails. Somehow my camera failed to capture it.
The idea was to create  a very subtle colorful bubble background and then bunch of black flowers at one side of the nails and then more colorful flowers for accent nails. But well I don't know. This look didn't satisfy me. As it look presentable I decided to share it. As usual all the design are hand painted from acrylic paint.. Hope you like my today's manicure. Let me know on the comment below  what you think about this? And I will see you soon. Thank you for visiting.
