Hello Everyone. Happy New Year Eve.

2015 for me was very unbelievable year. We had 7.8 Richter scale earthquake which  was devastating and people are still suffering from it. And with this ongoing economical blockade life is still a struggle. But on personal label its been wonderful. Me and my Family were safe and survived through the earthquake. I had a amazing time with my work. On the other hand I suffered from fungal infection and couldn't paint my nails for more than six months. But good thing is it healed. So all in all it was a shade of grey. Lots of black with few dots of white ;)

Lets not forget about the rest of the world. Lots of bad and horrific things happened. The world seems to be scary place to live now. So today through my nail art I wanted to spread love for coming year and many more.

I found this cute images in one of the social network. I decided to turn it into my New Year Nail art. So what do you think? Are you ready to spread the some love?

Hello Everyone. How was Your Christmas?!? 

Remember when I said I am having a bit of electricity problem. Well I think its solved. Although they said it will take a month (May be they were talking about fixing whole city not just my area. Anyway I am happy to have it back :D). I have electricity since yesterday without any problem. So here I am with a late Christmas manicure.

Hello Everyone!!! How are you doing all?!?

 Me and my little sister went for shopping few days back where I brought myself few nail polish.  I brought four polish from the brand called Angelacq and two from some nameless company. I never heard about this brand before but they definitely have lovely colors. I might do the swatches and review if I felt like it. 

So today I have yet another Christmas manicure. To share this time, its Black snowflake. Snowflake is free handed.

Hello Everyone!!! How is your weekend going so far?!?

I am soaking sun while I can. We barely have sun these days :\ I finished reading "The Girl In The Spider's Web". The book is fantastic. Not as awesome as the first three books but still. We had book exhibition few days back, and Me and my sisters did tons of book shopping. We brought Seven books. I cant wait to read them all. That is pretty much my life right now :D

December is here that bring lots of Christmas manicure. So I am here to share my first  manicure for this year. I made a very simple Christmas ornaments and tree. Everything is freehand. I used Acrylic paint as well as nail polish to create this nailart.

Hello Everyone!!! How are you all. Any plans for weekend?

The weather is quite gloomy here. The sun has been playing hide and seek since morning. Seems like winter has finally arrived. As for me I planned on spending my weekend by reading the fourth installment of Millennium series(A girl in the spider's web) and drinking a cup of coffee or four ;)

Today I have yet another review from Born Pretty Store. The product is striping tape. I love stripes manicure - there are fun and the design could be endless but we all know how its almost impossible to draw a straight line from stripper and cutting regular tape in thin sheet are time consuming. Hello Everyone!!!

We have rain since last night. The weather is cold but I had a very fun day. First I got my Born Pretty  Store Parcel after 2 long months of waiting. Then Me and little sister brought some amazing polishes :D All over, today was fantastic day for me. I am really tired and want nothing more than to warm up in bed, drink coffee and read a book or two. But its looks like I will be busy for a few days so here I am to share Three Halloween Nail Art ;)

You know how sometimes you make a manicure after manicure but you just dont feel something right about it and end up making next one and so on. Something like that happened. Its a festive season here and I am so in Lazy Mode. But because of my blog schedule I tried to do  halloween theme manicure, it turned out wonderful but mistakenly I deleted the pictures from my cellphone. I would have clicked some more but some of the design were already smudge up and werent good enough to post them. So I made another cute little ghost nailart but it didnt feel right. Lets just say the Acrylic paint werent in my favour so I finally settled with something easy and ended up doing Bubble manicure.

So people here is my first and last Halloween manicure for this year.

As I have already revealed that I am from Nepal . I decided it will be fun to paint my nails on one of our festival theme. And it happens to be we are celebrating month long festival known as "Vijaya Dashami". It is the longest and the most auspicious festival in the Nepalese annual calendar, celebrated by Nepalese people throughout the globe. To know more about this festival click here

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. One way  to show your support for the cause is by rocking the signature pink ribbon on your nails. 

Below is the BCA mani for this year. I simply made a pink half moon on white base and in my accent nails I made a pink ribbon with wings. I have used acrylic pink paint to create halfmoon and the ribbon.

Today I have simple yet elegant looking nailart to share. I think I made this nailart just when I thought I was healed from the fungus infection. So its must be like two months old. But I never got chance to share. Its a Sideways flower manicure. Its simple and takes less effort to create. I used both acrylic paint and polish to make this nailart. May be a white base would have been more greater look.

Amost Every year we have "BOOK FAIR" where we just get to buy Books books and more books (Pure Heaven :D) Me and my little sister grab the opportunity and brought three books. One of which was the most anticipated book of the year "GO SET A WATCHMAN" BY HARPER LEE. Its the second installment of the Novel "TO KILL A MOCKING BIRD". If you have read "to kill a mocking bird" than this book is must have. 

So wondering why I am suddenly talking about books? because I have Book Inspired Nail Art (reminds me of 31DC that is going on right now. Sadly I am missing all the fun) to share today. The book cover is very beautiful -orange background with tree branch and mocking bird. The back cover is filled wth bunch of leaves on each top corner with falling leaves right in the center. When I first look at the book my thought was this is gonna be one of hell of nailart ;) Here I present you my Go Set A WatchMan Nailart. Hope you like it. I made this nailart in my little sister's nail.

As my nails are still healing. I have decided that I am NOT going to paint my nails for another six month or so. But I will post ever week probably on Friday from now on. I will paint on my little sister's nails. However as she has exams coming up (she has exams every other month. I know it annoys me too) - Today I am going to share a nailart that was somewhere in my computer for dont know how long.

I have yet another Born Pretty Store Product review today. This time its a 3D sticker. I have never used such sticker before so I was very excited to try it.

Here is the package of stickers as they arrived. They were folded in the package, but carefully along the unused area so as not to effect or ruin any of the sticker. They were in a sealed plastic bag, and had a clear over sheet to protect them.

Hello Everyone!!! Almost weekend Yeah :D

I have been asked quite a few times about what happened to my accent nails. So I am going  to answer it here directly. You know about me going through nail fungus problem recently. Well although I thought it got healed but everytime I polish my nails my ring finger gets so itchy and my cuticles start bleeding out. So, thats what happened |: I havent been able to get doctor appointment because of  my work schedule right now. Hopefully I will get one soon in coming weeks.

Anyway continuing with my BPS review, I have yet another beautiful water decals. I know I have been posting lots of water decals lately but hey BPS got so many beautiful Water Decals I cant help it. So today I have these amazingly beautiful vintage roses decals for review.

I have another Movie inspired nailart to share today. Its  a  Disney Pixar "Inside Out". The movie deals literally with the human emotions. Its shows why every emotion is necessary. The movie is brilliant. The concept is different and unique But still I found it little boring in the middle.

Me, well  I sprained my leg. I kind of fall from bed and hurt it. What can I say I am accident prone. It wouldnt be wrong to say pain killer is my very best friend these days.

On the brighter side my little sister exam got over today *HURRAY*. So on the happy day I decided to paint on her nails ;)

Few days back I watched Jurassic World, and had been thinking of making a nailart since then. So yeah people I have a movie inspired nailart for you all. I love the movie the story line is quite predictable but still it will keep you occupied till the end. So here goes my manicure.

Hello Everyone!!!

Its been long since I last posted, busy making life back to normal. The aftershocks are very less compared to what we had in last few weeks. It doesnt occur for more than 48 hours and then boom it hit us suddenly obviously scaring the shit outta us. We had three after shocks back to back yesterday morning in less than 30 minutes. Whenever I feel like its over finally ground start shaking.Beside shaking and running and getting scared time to time life is pretty much normal. 

My kiddo (Little Sister ) is busy with her exams so I am not able to do many nailart. Good thing is my nails are getting better. I wont be painting them for two weeks tops and  than I will be back with more nailart hopefully. Taking time off from her busy schedule kiddo let me do a simple manicure on her nails.

How are you all ?!? So, Life here is gradually going back to nornal. We didnt have any big aftershock lately (Thanks Heaven *sigh*) but still small aftershocks are still happening again and again.Sometimes it goes un notice sometimes it gives me heart attack.

To refresh my mind and to get some R&R I decided to do a manicure. Its very simple easy and quick to make. Its a  Quilted Dotticure Manicure. Colors are from Hello Kitty Collection. Everything is made from my trustee toothpick.

Hello Everyone!!!

It happened again. After the devastating earthqauke we had in April 25th Life did started to get normal, People started to move on. I on the other hand decided to paint my nails. I wanted to tribute to all those monuments we lost. After a week of constant fear, painting my nails was great distraction. After gathering courage for week or two I finally decided to go to my room and blog. Everything seemed quite normal, I was lost in blogging while suddenly it happened agian. Everything start to shook  and I was running for my life Agian. We were hit by 7.4 magnitute of earthquake, a aftershock. It was a very cruel dejavu.

The devastating Earthquake we had in April 25th and the constant aftershocks might have shook us all from the core but we are all determined to rise agian. While there is Life there is Hope. And not losing hope is the most important thing right now. We Nepalese are very thankful for all the foreign help and will always be indebted. Many of our monuments were destroyed but we wll built them brick by brick and rewrite our proud history again.

Here is something that I made to tribute. I painted "DHARAHARA" one of our monuments that signified our history. To reflect we will stand tall again and will find light even through all this darkness.

25th April 2015 was a normal Saturday until it wasn't. I was blogging and commenting on your lovely blogs when suddenly my computer monitor started to shake. It just took me few seconds to realize that we just got hit by earthquake. One moment I was all happy and smiling and the next moment I was running for my life. Me and my family Somehow managed to run to safe side of our home.  The house was still shaking and felt like forever. It just won't stop.  I was very near to have a panic attack. We heard people scream "earthquake" and running out from their homes towards the street. When we thought the worst is over the ground started to  shake again. Thats when we realize the nightmare isnt over. We had constant big aftershocks over and over again in matter of few minutes. We were scared to death. Never in my life I ever had such near to death experience.

When things felt little normal we contacted all the people and felt a little relieved to know that eveyone in our family circle were safe and sound. We listened to news and came to know we were struck by 7.9 richter scale. One of the biggest earth quake so far.

The ground shook us from deep within our hearts.The debris of body and architecture rained down in our nation. The day got ruined when a massive earth quake hit the entire nation with its epicenter being Barpak. The day never seemed to end.  Every second felt like a year and every breath felt like a blessing.  We're drenched  In fear, hoping and praying for nothing but for everything to return to normal. This was the moment I truly wished that fairy tale was true. I hope that with a flick of a wand I could do something, anything! The after shock never went away leaving  us with no option but for the fear to overtake us.

Sleepless night and endless fear gripped us. "Anticipation" as my sister phrased it was our greatest fear and enemy.

No network, no communication and no electricity supply. That  is how we survived. Every motion,  every movement made our heart skip a beat. Our minds were accustomed even to a small tremor and the movement of our legs were spidery.The foods wouldn't go down our throats, every bite was tasteless,  every chew a loss of energy.We were living our nightmare. We lived that day in complete apprehension.

As long as the day felt, the night never seemed to end. The fear taunting us, we were utterly helpless.The unseen became seen and unnoticed became noticed.

The night sky seemed so peaceful, so calm.The stars twinkling,  the moon shining bright, spreading its warm light over all the people staring at it from below the earth.We all were staring into the heaven through the chaos of hell.

Hello Everyone!!!

Like I mentioned I have four product to review from Born Pretty Store. But one at a time, so today I am gonna show you a collection of different shaped studs that comes in silver and gold color. The Product that  I am talking about is Heart Square Round Star Stud Rhinestone .

I know I promised to keep you all updated with my little nightmare but honestly for weeks there was no sign of any good changes infact I thought it was getting worse. But finally I think my nails are healing.Since once month passed last Sunday I moved my lazy arse and decided to update. My nails they havent healed completely but they did show some changes like they finally start growing. The process is very slow but still growing. Nails and the nail bed are still seprated but the seprated part are very little compare to beginning. Bad news is I thought it was just my pinky and ring finger but it happens my index and middle finger is infected to. Ofcourse I am applying the medicine and taking them like prescribed and I am really hopefully within six month my precious nails will be healed and ready to rock on. 

If you read my last post then you know I am having some majar nail problems. With your comment I came to know it is "Onycholysis". I knew nothin about it so I searched google and post about it on one of nail group on facebook that I am member of. The ladies there, were great help. Few suggested me a product called "Dr G" or any other anti nail fungus product. So I went for a haunt of "Dr G" few weeks back. Too bad I couldnt find it anywhere. I even asked for any other anti fungal product but it seems like no one knew what I was talking about.

After roaming around like 2 hours I thought of visiting near by drug store (clinic) and see if they had any anti fungus medicine (in my place we dont need strict doctor prescription to buy medicine.) So I showed my nail and asked if they had any anti fungus cream that I could use. The lady on the counter was kind enough to look at my nails and she said they do have some cream but she refuse to give it and strictly suggested  me to go visit  a doctor because this might be a serious health issue. She suggested if I would like a check up, they did have  a skin doctor  available right then.

A serious health issue?!?! what the hell. As I had searched google number of times to know about Onycholysis the word "serious" brought too many bad thoughts. Google can be frightening sometimes. I didn't had courage, so I booked the appointment for next Friday. I went home and told the family about it and mom being  a sweetheart told me she will come along with me.

Finally the Friday came.I went to visit the doctor. I told him about my nails. He asked me number of question when I replied most of them as NO he finally settled to a FUNGUS infection on my nails (Yeah no serious health problem. what a relief *sigh*)  The doctor said the skin under my nails started to get rotten. Like serious rotten, cant he use any other nice words to describe it. Rotten sounds like too degradable \:

I asked what caused the fungus but the doctor seemed to have no idea. I told my obsession about nail polish  and he made it clear nail polish doesn't do that (Yeah again) He said this might be of water infection. I don't know whats that supposed to mean. May be too much moist on skin caused fungus?!?

He told me this is gonna take long time to heal, for now he said 6 bloody months. He prescribed me an anti fungus tablet for 3 month that I am supposed to take each day for 1 month and 1 in a week for 8 weeks, and anti fungus cream that I am supposed to apply twice a day until it gets healed. And he asked me to come back after 3 months. So that's my story. 

Since last few weeks (almost a month may be now) my nails are separted from its nail bed. The separation occurs gradually and is painless. Does anyone know WHAT IN THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!? I am quite upset about this so I cut my nails and have been applying some antibiotics cream. The pinky finger is healed but my ring finger seems to be getting worse. And the growing process of my nails are slow (Turtle slow).

Can anyone suggest what happened? Is this serious? Do I need to go for check up, if so what kind of doctor should I refer? Is there anything like "NAIL DOCTOR" or skin doctor should be fine?

I have another great post for you! Today I have a product to review from the Born Pretty Store. Like I mentioned in the earlier post, I received a mail from BPS asking for collaboration and reviewing their products. Ofcourse the answer was YES. The only question that remained was whether they ship their products to my country or not (Generally My country NEPAL isnt listed on International Shipping List.) When I got a reply saying that they do I was beyond happy. According to the mail, the products wore supposed to arrive here in 3 -4 weeks and I was wondering if I might have to visit Post office to collect them but to my surprise the products were delivered to my doorstep within two weeks. What a complimentary services!  Lets jump into review, Shall we?
