One more day and this amazing journey will over. *sad face* but i go back to my life as I don't have to take time for blogging everyday. Day 30 Challenge "INSPIRED BY" Tutorial. Today I had to pick a tutorial to of one of favorite blogger to inspire my nails . I've always wanted to try out some of the nail art from Lucy Stash. Her one stroke nail art are always so perfect and beautifully done. However one stroke aint in my forte so I decided to go with something easy.I choose Jonqal pattern. Let me show you how it turned out!!

I am happy  with final product. It was quite difficult to made those ziz zag lines  and to fill them with toothpick and but I think I manage to nailed it. Lucy made the jonqal pattern look so easy on her tutorial.Thanks Lucy!! Whatcha think about today Mani's. Let me know on the comment below (:

Hello Everyone!!!

Day 29 Challenge - "INSPIRED BY" Supernatural. This prompt take quite a bit of thinking. I thought we need to make something related to of  TV show Supernatural  :D but it wasn't.We were suppose to make something beyond nature stuff like Alien, Ghost and more. I thought of making some cute ghost but I wanted to save it for Halloween. I spend lots of time stressing about  what to make for the challenge. Then I took Dear Google help and got inspired Let me show you the pic!

Whatcha think? Yeap I made FAIRY. I got inspired by image I saw in Google. It is supposed to be Tinker Bell but of course it doesn't look like one!

Colors that I used are Camieo Purple and Charm Limit Black and MAC Glitter.

I made it freehand with my trustee toothpick.Yeah it took hours and hours. But it was definitely a worth because I am happy, satisfied and proud with the final product. I made fairy in my ring finger and just added dotted for rest of the finger [that is actually suppose to be a fairy dust but by the time I finished making fairy I was so darn to tired to do anything else] It didn't seem possible for me to make fairy on all of fingers. I am quite amazed that I managed to make one at least :D I hope you like today Mani. Let me know on the comment below (: BTW I got a question. Hello Readers!!! (: Happy weekend ya'll.

Day 28 Challenge - "INSPIRED BY" FLAG. I cant believe how close we are to end .Just two more days and it will be over. Today  we have to do nails inspired by flag  and it was no brainer for me. I knew what I want  from the very start of the challenge. I have picked the "Unique Flag" of the world. What so unique about it. Let me show you the pic!!

This is the national Flag of  NEPAL which is the world's only non-quadrilateral national flag. Nepal is located in south Asia. Nepal has eight of the world's ten tallest mountains, including the highest point on Earth, Mount Everest. For more Information

The national flag of Nepal  is the world's only non-quadrilateral national flag. Its crimson red is the color of the rhododendron, the country's national flower. Red is also the sign of victory in war. The blue border is the color of peace. For more information . As I didnt have exact color. I have improvised a bit. The colors that I used Bloom Red,"Name less" Dark Blue, Charm limit White.

Welcome to Day 27 challenge - "INSPIRED BY" ARTWORK. Wow this challenge just inspire me. Its making me do thing that I never thought of. I had no idea what I was going to make for this challenge. Artwork - not something  we see everyday right? I mean I barely go to art exhibition or try to explore the world of art. So I just got once choice - Google again. It showed lots of famous artwork but hard thing was to translate them on nails. *Hours past* then when I saw a piece of artwork that inspired me in minute. And I decided this one or nothing else.  Let me show you what I came up with. 

I choose a piece called  "Inukshuk" by Ted Harrison . I came to know Ted Harrison is one of Canada’s most popular artists. His distinctive style of painting is both colorful and sophisticated yet retains an innocent charm.

 The reason I used acrylic paint is I wanted that feeling or the magic of art to transfer in my nails.  I am happy and satisfied with the replica of Inukshuk on my nails. I couldn't have been better. So this is my design for Today challenge . I hope you like it. Let me know on the comment below (:

Day 26 Challenge "INSPIRED BY" PATTERN. Didn't we just had pattern challenge for more then week or so? Pattern again? o.O  Oh well anyway I am quite out of idea. I pour all my pattern idea on last week and its nearly empty. I don't remember any specific pattern to do for this challenge. But I did came up with something nice. I don't know what to call it. Let me show you the pic!!

Whatcha think?!?  This does consider as pattern right?!? Colors I used are Street Wear Glazed green 19 and Charm Limit black with Mode Love Top Coat.

 I love the Glazed Green and I totally adore the fact that Black is best complimentary color for it. I painted my nails Gazed green and let it dry. And with my trustee toothpick I created square and rectangle. And more square intersecting each other. A causal bag inspired me for this Mani. I saw it somewhere in downtown. It had color circle pattern. I choose to do square with just one color. I love the final product. It looks so chic in person. I hope you like it. Let me know on the comment below (:

Welcome to Day 25 Challenge - "INSPIRED BY" FASHION. Ahhh Fashion interesting indeed. Love the theme. I knew whom design I wanted as My Mani. PRABAL GURUNG!!! I recently learn about him and came to know he has create lots of dress for celebraties including Michelle Obama, Mila Kunis, Freda Pinto [so many to name] and recently Lady Gaga for MTV's Award .So to get inspired for today challenge first thing I did was type "Prabal Gurung fashion trends" on Google. Indeed tons of option.But I was waiting to see something that is easy to translate on my nails. After long hours I found it.Let me show you what inspired me!!

Interesting thing about this mani is I MADE THE POLISH MYSELF.Well you might know I am not much fond of anything pink. So I don't owe any pink polishes currently. But I was so in love with this design I had to make it.Then a brilliant idea hit me and I decided to make a color for myself that will match the dress. I mix the matching Eye Shadow on Clear Polish / Top Coat. Yeap!! that was brilliant idea haha :D Well It worked. I would like to call the polish HG Rouge Pink! ^-^. I used Charm Limit black and Top Coat.

 Its 2011 Fall Winter Collection. [Pic 35]. I have used striper as well as toothpick for this Mani. There is not much to explain. I did french manicured on my nails with Rouge Pink. When it was dry I added lines and bow from Black. That it!!! I am quite pleased with the Mani. I never did fashion inspired Mani before. So it was super fun to do it. I hope you like the design. I painted my ring finger with red polish and made the novel cover page which is kind a golden ring. Then I french manicured rest of the finger with red and with glittery yellow I framed Them.  It was little difficult to make circle through toothpick but I made it on one go which is why it look mess. But anyhow I love the design. I think I have done justice to the book cover page. Day 23 Challenge - MOVIE. "Well that easy I have done few movie Mani"- That what I thought but NO when needed idea my brain just stop working [ It just ME or that happens to you as well?!?] I had many plans for movie just so if I fail and that happen. I was so tired repainting again and again. Then when My brother asked what I am up to and I said about today challenge. And in second he gave me a brilliant idea. Let me show you what his idea was.

Guessed it? Yes its "JOBS"- It only takes one person to start a revolution. The extraordinary story of Steve Jobs. I watched the movie few days back. I love it. Ashton Kutcher is surprisingly good but it feels more like a movie about Apple than the man who founded it. Have you watched the movie?!?

 The colors that I used are Charm limit 06 white and 07 Black with Charm limit Top Coat.

I made Apple logo on my Ring Finger. The movie poster has it. And for rest of my finger I french manicured and just made leaf from logo.  I made everything with toothpick. Yes it Freehand. I am so happy how the logo turn out. This Mani is tribute to STEVE JOBS. "Only he could bite an apple and keep it fresh for 3 decades and forever". RIP!!! So this was my design for today challenge. Day 22 Challenge- "INSPIRED BY" SONG. Trust me when I said this challenge is getting CRAZY but I am enjoying  everyday moment. It would be total lie if I would say it was easy to chose a song for today challenge. I choose like three song. First 50 cent Ft. Eminem "Fast Lane", second Avril Lavigne "Smile" Third Maroon 5 "Misery". Alas I couldn't get anyone on my nails Darn!! But hey Finally I choose a very beautiful song  one of favorite Train "HEY SOUL SISTER". I choose this song because it video was quite easy to transform on my nails. Have you watched the video if not then better watch. It will be easy to understand ;)  Let me show you pic!! 

 

 Do I need to explain?!? This video got lots of graffiti arrows going here and there that what I made on my nails :P Well on a serious note - the video starts with showing stop sign [0.05 sec] that what I made on my thumb,  trash can in my index finger [1:48 sec] Stripes on middle finger are when the graffiti lines  are shows on flower pot [1:35 sec] and more arrow. There that it!!  And I successfully accomplish today challenge WOO HOO!!!  yeah I am so excited and happy with the Mani. Choosing song was the most difficult task then it just went with flow. From today the hardest challenge has started - Inspired By. Today challenge is color. We need to make a design inspired by a color. I got a  question here because this challenge made me confused. A COLOR. So what we are supposed to do paint our nails with just one color, or we can use shades of color? o.O Who knows?!?

Well anyway I decided to go with two of my favorite color. Blue and Black. I hope this is according to challenge. A little bit of more explanation on this challenge would have been easier to me. Let me show you the pic!!

I am obsessed with skull. So I have to make one in this challenge. And today was the perfect opportunity. I Painted my nails with bluebeery then french manicured with black in all nails except ring finger. With my trustee toothpick I made cross bone above the french manicure. For my ring finger I choose to  made a cute heart shaped skull and cross bone. I enjoy this mani. I hope you did to let me know on the comment below (:

Day 20 Challenge - Water Marble. I wasn't looking forward for this challenge. This has to be most difficult challenge for me so far. Water Marble is not in my forte. I suck at it. I am always fascinated by water marble. Its fun and amazing right? I mean who thought you can drop a polish in water ,swirl it and do something fantastic from it. I DIDNT - Never in my wildest dream.  I was amused when I knew we can do something like that. But its not that easy like it sound. Water marble is very hard technique. Its always turn into horrible disaster. I try  this technique whenever I brought new polish but NEVER  has it gone once right Sigh -.-"

It didn't this time either. I tried it like four or five times but Nada the technique keep turning into BIG FAIL. I thought of  skipping this challenge. But WAIT!!! Look what I found in my hidden treasure :D

OH YEAH!!! WATER MARBLE. I was searching my computer and found this on my collection. Yes this will be  Throwback nail art for this competition. I made this like last year umm or may be year before that. Like you see it doesn't look like water marble (I didnt wear base color that time. I just dip my nude nails on design.) but I was still happy because I did achieved some design rather than just bulk of nail polish stuck on my nail. I just got once picture. I thought of sharing this picture rather then skipping a challenge. I hope to learn the technique soon. Hello Everyone!!!

Day 19 Challenge- Galaxy. I find this design very interesting because Galaxy Nail Art differs and are personal to those who create it. There are of course tons of ways to do this Mani.  I have just done galaxies mani once in past using darker shade color which turn out okay . But as Pastels Galaxies are so on trend I decided to give it a try. So instead of using darker shade I have used all the pastels colors that I owe.Let me show you the pic.

 I loved the final product. It looked more beautiful in person. Its kind of hard to capture the beauty of pastels color through camera. I painted my nails with Green Tea and let it dry completely. Then with sponge I slowly  dabbed orange and blue. I quickly apply a top coat. Once the Mani was dry completely I added the Stars from MAC Glitter Polish and finally with toothpick added some white dots. I hope you like today design. Let me know on the comment below (: 

Argh!!! tomorrow is Water Marble. That is not in my forte. Hopefully I will be able to come up with something presentable. Wish Me LUCK!!!

Day 18 Half moon challenge. Half moon - This look can go from Vintage to Modern Look. I love this pattern. There are few different ways to do half moon. I used this technique few months back and it turn our pretty well.  I am very pleased and proud to presents today Mani because I made it Free hand and it turn out exactly how I planned it. I cant wait to share. Let me show you the pic!!

Whatcha think? For this Mani I choose to do Mermaid Design [that what I like to call it] The colors that I used are Caiuro CR #08 Orange,CR#20 Green Tea and CR#15 Orange, CR #16 Blueberry  and Charm limit 06 White and 07 Black.

 I am SO in Love with the final product. I first gradient my nails in white base and let it dry completely. Then with my Trustee TOOTHPICK dipped on black polish and  then slowly started to fill my nails with small curve or "u" shape.As I don't get small circle band aids here. I actually cut scotch tape in round shape to create the half moon design. You can see some mess in index finger because I couldn't keep my patience and applied the top coat in hurry -.-"  I am so Proud of this Mani ignoring all the pain (: I hope you like this design as much as I did . Day 17 Glitter Challenge. I was bit disappointed for this challenge because you might know I don't owe any nail art tool not even Glitter. So there wasn't much choice for me beside to do simple  glitter top Mani. But when I was painting a Mani- idea strike me and I end up doing different but still very simple design. I owe just two Glitter polish both from MAC.  I pick up one bottle and start implementing my idea. Let me show you pic!!

 Like I said very simple. But I have put a great effort on this one. See that Glitter nail polish above?!? it contains lot of Red Blue and Golden small glitter. So What I did is French tip my nail and with toothpick I pick up  those glitter Individual. That was so tedious. The glitter are so small it doesn't easy go along with with toothpick easily and when I needed blue one there just used to be red glitter on brush and vice verse. sigh -.-"

The original idea was to do a kind music wave in my ring finger - but by the time I was done with the rest of finger I didn't have any energy left to pick  more glitter. My eyes were hurting and my right hand thumb and index finger were in pain. But after hour of fighting with those glitter I finish my Mani and I won the battle tee hee ;). And just as a review this is the worst MAC product I ever used. That glitter polish take ages to dry like literally. And sorry for the poor pic by the end I was so tired and my hand were shaking while taking the snap \: I somehow hope you like the Mani let me know on the comment below (: And for tomorrow challenge I already have brilliant idea and I wont disappoint  you (:  Oh and BTW this is hundred post :D oh Yeah I hit the century woo hoo *dance like crazy* I would like to thank you all for all the love and support :')
